red flag 20-2

Photography: Nicholas Pascarella

I was fortunate to spend a few days near Nellis AFB during Red Flag 20-2, with various units from Italian, Spanish, German, US and NATO forces in attendance. The weather was weird with rain in the forecast almost every day of my trip, but I was luckily able to capture a few of the notable aircraft coming and going to the ranges, ticking off a few unicorn boxes of mine. Sadly, I was not around long enough to capture the tiger-painted Typhoon or the special-scheme blue NATO E-3; sometimes it's just not to be, but I did manage to catch one of my biggest unicorns (literally): the dinosaur B-52 Stratofortress. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite shots from Red Flag 20-2.
